Each summer, Valley Performing Arts offers summer youth camps with each camp focusing on all aspects of musicaltheatre: singing, dancing, and acting. Students participate in a two week camp with a performance for family and friendsat the close. If granted, the funding will be used for the summer program which will help fund an arts based healthyliving program utilizing the Machetanz Theater of the City of Wasilla and the dance floor/stage of the community theater.It will include providing each camp with qualified theatre, music, and choreography staff, a healthy meal for the youth onthe final day of each camp session, and overhead costs.
