The Health Insurance Marketplace and
the Affordable Care Act - 2017 Updates

Looking for information about health insurance and the Affordable Care Act? Get answers at www.healthcare.gov, where you can compare plans, buy insurance, and more starting November 1, 2016. Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield will be the only Affordable Care Act-compliant individual health insurer in Alaska in 2017. Consumers currently covered by a Moda Health or discontinued Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska individual or family plan will need new coverage January 1, 2017. Premera has posted 2017 rates and other information here.
