Help for Nonprofits and Small Businesses

Need a little help figuring out all the COVID-19 funding that is currently available? The Mat-Su Health Foundation is making technical assistance, including grant writing, available from the Foraker Group at no charge to eligible Mat-Su nonprofits. Contact Program Associate Tracy Kalytiak for more information: (907) 354-3627 or email.

  • The Mat-Su Health Foundation (MSHF) is offering Coronavirus Prevention and Response (CPR) grants of up to $50,000 to Mat-Su nonprofit organizations. The grants are designed to support local nonprofits as they address unplanned expenses and/or lost revenue relating to the coronavirus pandemic. Applications submitted under this program will receive expedited handling. Assistance securing a line of credit is also available. Please contact us for more information about what we fund before you apply.
  • The Mat-Su Health Foundation is also allowing the re-purposing of existing MSHF grants for CPR. If you currently have a grant with a remaining balance and have a need, an amount up to $50,000 can be repurposed in line with the CPR guidance above through a simple amendment to the grant agreement. We can also reconstitute those funds for the original purpose on a case-by-case basis. Contact your Program Officer to learn more.
