Alaska Coalition on Housing and Homelessness

This grant provides funds to employ a full-time Youth Support Specialist in Mat-Su, to serve as a bridge between youth and local/state/federal partners and be held exclusively by a member of the Mat-Su Youth Action Board with lived experience. The Alaska Coalition on Housing and Homelessness has proposed to use the grant to fund salary and associated expenses for the full-time position, including salary and related costs, supplies and equipment, staff development and training and compensation for Youth Action Board members following best practice guidelines in compensating individuals with lived experience for their participation.
