Grantee Loan Program
In case of delay to State of Alaska grant funding or Medicaid payments to Mat-Su Health Foundation (MSHF) grantees, the Mat-Su Health Foundation and Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union (MVFCU) may provide short-term, low-interest rate loans to affected MSHF grantees. MVFCU will administer these low-interest balloon payment loans to grantees approved by MSHF. Loans must be repaid upon receipt of the delayed state payments and are anticipated to be 60 to 90 days in duration.
The application linked here provides information needed to get the loan approval process started. Applicants will need to provide a financial statement and their organization’s budget if these are not already on file with MSHF, as well as a letter from the State of Alaska confirming delayed funding. Please feel free to contact Jim Beck, Amy Gorn, or Ray Michaelson at 352-2863 with questions about this program.
