Promote Positive Youth Development
A cohort of Mat-Su partners traveled to Iceland to learn directly the Youth in Iceland model. Later, these partners applied for and were awarded a national grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to adapt and implement components of this international model as a pilot called “Youth in Mat-Su.” The project will provide easy participation in youth and adult activities in an equitable, diverse, accessible and affordable way.
