We support you, so you can support our community’s health and well-being

For diplomas or degrees (associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral) in health or human services at accredited post-secondary institutions.

For short-term training (a few months to less than two years) in health or human services careers (e.g., CNA, Addiction Counselor, Medical Billing, and Post-Graduate Certificates).

These scholarships support capacity-building training programs or conference attendance for executive directors, board members, and staff in Mat-Su nonprofits, governmental and tribal organizations, community councils, and faith-based organizations.

Eligibility and requirements

  • Eligibility requirements are different for each type of scholarship, but all our scholarships are specifically for people living and working in Mat-Su
  • Mat-Su Health Foundation Board of Directors
  • Mat-Su Health Foundation Executive Leadership staff, and program staff who participate in vetting or evaluation of scholarship applications, and their family* members
  • Mat-Su Regional Medical Center Board of Directors

*Family members of a disqualified person include a disqualified person’s spouse, brothers and sisters (whether by whole or half-blood), spouses of brothers or sisters (whether by whole or half-blood) and their children by whole or half blood or by adoption, ancestors, children (including a legally adopted child), grandchildren, great grandchildren, and spouses of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren (whether by whole or half-blood).
