Grantee Loan Program

In case there is a delay in distributing grant funds from the State of Alaska or Medicaid payments to Mat-Su Health Foundation (MSHF) grantees, MSHF and Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union (MVFCU) may provide short-term, low-interest rate loans to affected MSHF grantees.

MFVCU will administer these low-interest balloon payment loans to grantees approved by MSHF. Loans must be repaid upon receipt of the delayed state payments. Loans are anticipated to be 60 to 90 days in duration.

Access the application linked here for information to start the loan approval process.

Applicants will need to provide a financial statement and their organization’s budget, if these are not already on file with MSHF. Applicants will also need to provide a letter from the State of Alaska confirming that funding has been delayed.

Please contact us through this form if you have any questions about this program.
